Obituary of Grace M. Loomis

Grace M. Loomis Age 90, of Horseheads, NY was born June 22, 1934 in Troy, PA the daughter of the late Otis F. and Frances (Smith) Robbins. Grace passed away peacefully at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center on Friday, April 11, 2025. Her sister, Majorie Miller and brother, Otis S. Robbins preceded her in death. Survivors left to cherish Grace's memory are her loving sons: Mark (Sharon) Vanderhoff, Lee Vanderhoff (fiancée Karyn Moore), Scott (Heather) Vanderhoff all of Elmira, NY; grandchildren: Jamie Vanderhoff, Virginia Vanderhoff, Jay Vanderhoff, Aaron Vanderhoff and Hayleigh Vanderhoff; great grandchildren: Bayleigh Vanderhoff, Zenaid Vanderhoff, Clay Sereno, Emma Sereno (arriving soon); along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In 1952 Grace graduated from Thomas A. Edison High School. She was the bookkeeper at Albee Truck Company with many years of dedicated service. Grace was a faithful member of Maranatha Bible Chapel in Horseheads, NY. Family and friends are invited to visit Maranatha Bible Chapel 774 Sing Sing Road Horseheads, NY on Friday, April 25, 2025 visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Grace's Celebration of Life will be held there following the visitation at 2 pm. Reverend Samuel Hahn will officiate. Grace will be laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 11:00 am. Barber Funeral Home is assisting the Loomis Family.
