Obituary of Robert Walter Bargesser

Robert Walter "Bob" Age 81, of Horseheads, died Sunday, April 27, 2025. Robert was born August 5, 1943 in Elmira, NY. He will be forever missed by his loving wife of 61 years, Annerose R. (Hoepfner) Bargesser; his son and daughter-in-law, Robert S. and Stacey Bargesser of Wilmington, NC, his son and daughter-in-law, David S. and Lori Bargesser of Grass Lake, MI, and his daughter and son-in-law Monika and Brian Vesneske of Horseheads; his grandchildren Xavier, Brennen (wife Maiah), and Lexus Bargesser, Kristen (husband Andrew) Brusso, Nicole (husband Ben) Georgia, and Alexander and Nathan Vesneske; his great-grandchildren Johnathan and Cameron Brusso and Sevi Georgia. He is predeceased by his daughter Sandra R. Bargesser, father Walter R. Bargesser, and mother Ruth A. Veina. Robert served in the Army in Germany where he met his wife. Robert is retired from Kennedy Valve where he worked for 40 years. Bob would do anything for anyone. He could build anything, enjoyed tinkering in his garage, watching "Columbo", driving his "little red truck", and loved spending time at "the land" building tree stands and working on the cabin. He especially loved being with his Grandchildren and watching them play sports. Most of all he loved his "Marie". He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather and he will be loved forever. Services for immediate family will take place privately. Internment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery in Elmira, NY. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may remember Robert with memorials to United Cerebral Palsy, 101 Short Hills Dr, Horseheads NY 14845.
