JoAnn Delany

Age 90, of Horseheads, NY was born March 23, 1935 in New York City, NY; passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, May 24, 2025 with her loving family at her side. Survivors left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 70 years, Richard P. Delany; loving sons, Mark (Kelly) Delany and Edmund (Kim) Delany; adored grandchildren, Addison (Andrew), Gage, Cliff, Nikki and Shae; siblings, Tommy, Jimmy, Steven and Linda; along with several nieces, nephews and many friends. JoAnn was a Steward for the NYSDOCS retiring after 25 dedicated years of service. Above all else, JoAnn loved her family and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed Sunday dinners with her family. Family and friends are invited to visit Barber Funeral Home 413 South Main Street Horseheads, NY on Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, May 30, 2025 at St. Mary Our Mother Church 816 Broad Street Horseheads and will begin 10:00 am. Reverend Christopher Linsler will celebrate JoAnn's Mass. Interment will follow in St. Mary Our Mother Cemetery with Father Linsler offer the committal prayers.
