Obituary of Tasha F. Statham

Tasha Statham, born September 16th, 1961, passed away on September 3rd, 2025. Services will be held at St. Matthew's Church at 2pm on September 19th. A reception will follow. Tasha is survived by her dear father, William Statham (Predeceased by her mother, Barbara) and her brothers, Leonard, Robert and Jonathan Statham. She was also a loving aunt to Tegan, Shelby and Ian Statham who adored her deeply. In addition, she cared deeply for her cousins, Kelly, Mark and Brian Statham and the numerous friends that were so important to her in her life. Tasha had a deep love of music and shared her beautiful voice with everyone around her. She performed in several bands with her brother Jon, including Mind at Large (hard rock), Five Pound Opinion (alternative rock) and Through the Funnel (alternative acoustic), creating memories that her family and friends will forever cherish. Her gift of music was not only a passion but also a legacy she shared generously with those she loved. She had a tender heart for animals and dedicated her time through her work at Agape Veterinary Clinic, and her cherished cats, and dogs (Stevie and Jet) that she cared for during her life. She also volunteered and spent time volunteering at the local consignment shop (Browse and Buy) through St. Matthew's Church, a tradition started through her mother, Barbara. Tasha carried on that legacy with compassion and care for her community. She was also a devoted caretaker to many over the years, always willing to help those in need with kindness and love. In her later years, Tasha struggled with kidney disease, yet she remained steadfast in spirit, continuing to share her love, kindness and music despite her challenges. Her spirit will be remembered for the joy she brought, the music she created and the love she gave to her family, friends and community.
