Obituary of Florence I. Iffert

Florence Irene Iffert (Bliss) Age 79, of Horseheads, NY. Daughter of the late Donald and Bernice Bliss. She was born January 31, 1946 in Bath, NY and passed away September 12, 2025. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Evan Ellsworth Iffert in 2022; daughter Michelle Ann in 1967; and grandson Christopher Scott O'Brian in 2023. She is survived by her daughters Terry Iffert, Lisa (Brian) Iffert Smith, Renee (David) Iffert Sweezy; son Ricky D. (Lisa) Iffert; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. She graduated from Dundee Central School, Class of 1965. She worked at the Willow Creek Golf Club and Elmira Country Club doing landscaping and mowing ruff. Florence loved the spring time and planting her flowers. She also treasured birds and her 50's and 60's music. Her Celebration of Life will be held spring of 2026.
