Obituary of Helen G. Gradwohl
Gradwohl, Helen Gwen – On September 18, 2025, Helen went home in her sleep due to natural causes. Helen was born May 5 th , 1945, in Elmira, New York.
Helen was predeceased by her son, Jack W. Kellogg Sr whom she devoted her life to. After Jacks passing, Helen would devote the remainder of her life caring for her grandson Steven.
Helen is predeceased by her husband Stephen Gradwohl. Helen is also predeceased by her father John W. Watts and mother Ruth E. (Van Horn) Watts and siblings Norman Watts, John "Jack" Watts and his wife Gail, Betty (Stanley) Harris, Dorothy (Max) Evans, and Virginia (Kenneth) Bush.
Helen is survived by her twin sister, Martha Wilgosz. Her grandchildren Jack W. (Kerry) Kellogg Jr, Ruth E. Kellogg, and Steven D. Kellogg. Helen is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces who have been extremely helpful in this time. Helen had two great-grandchildren – Evelyn Clare and Kinleigh Mae Kellogg.
Helen enjoyed gardening, canning, spaghetti westerns and cooking holiday meals for family. Her grandson Jack will tell you she made the best homemade French fries and cheeseburgers. She loved whom she loved greatly, often going above and beyond for those she deemed fit but had no issue with making her feelings felt if she disagreed.
There will be no services planned per her wishes.
