Obituary of Eric Michael Field

Eric Michael Field Age 56 of Elmira, NY. Eric was born in Endicott, NY on July 16, 1969, the son of Lloyd M. and Patricia B. (Bell) Field. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, at home, on Wednesday, October 8th, 2025. He is predeceased by his father Lloyd, who passed in 2008; along with his paternal grandparents Lloyd E. and Evelyn F. Field; and maternal grandparents Harry W. and Mildred C. Bell. Eric is survived and loved by his mother Patricia of Tunkhannock, PA; brother Brad J. Field of Newark Valley, NY; and sister Sheryl L. Field, of Tunkhannock, PA; his life partner Bobbie Jo Morse of Elmira, NY; those who called him ' Pop Pop' – Ava, Jeremy Jr., Lillie, and Lana; along with several dear friends. Eric was a graduate of Binghamton High School, starting his first job with Price Chopper and later finding work as an HVAC technician, taking several jobs in the field he found a calling for. He loved time spent with family and friends, whether catching his favorite movie – A Christmas Story – or golfing, or watching a football game to root for the Cowboys. Eric loved his motorcycle, especially rides alongside his buddy Rick. Family will hold private services; Eric will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira.
