Obituary of Michael Dean Seymour

Michael Dean Seymour Age 46 of Corning, NY. Michael was born April 2, 1979 in Elmira, NY, the son of Kenneth and the late Carol (Stocum) Seymour. He passed away on Thursday, October 9th, 2025. He is predeceased by his mother, Carol (Stocum) Seymour; and his grandparents Robert & Lois Stocum, and Murray Seymour & June Dykstra. He was employed by Lockheed Martin, Owego, NY as a(n) Electrical Engineer. Michael's family, left to cherish his memory, are his sons Ryker & Remy; father Kenneth Seymour; brother David (Cassie) Seymour of Corning, NY; nephews, Thomas & Robert; along with many dear friends and extended family. A graduate of Horseheads High School in 1997, Corning Community College in 1999, and RIT in 2003, Micheal worked for Lockheed Martin in Owego, NY for 6 years before moving to Corning. Michael was a loving father; he enjoyed visiting his sons and the pets – Nova, Jax, and Valkyrie. He loved to play board games, and to take the boys to Barnes & Noble to play board games. His talent for drawing was evident. He was a fan of Marvel, Spiderman, and Star Wars. He enjoyed the music of Weird Al Yankovic. He will be greatly missed by everyone who loved him Family and friends are invited to his graveside ceremony, in Woodlawn Cemetery, 1200 Walnut Street, in Elmira on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 2:30 pm. We will gather at the main gate on Walnut.
