Mike, Mark & Family,
Our Thoughts and Prayers for all of you. Your mom was a wonderful person. I remember growing up and going to your house with Uncle Pat, Aunt Nancy and the kids playing in the yard and things seeing your Mom & Dad, and then you guys would come over to their house and all of us playing in the yard or the woods. I loved seeing your Mom in the store in Watkins we would have a great time catching up about everything how things is going, how you guys were doing, and giving her a big hug when we were done. I miss that but will cherish it forever. Our Deepest Sympathy to you.
With Love,
Doug & Barb Bierwiler

When I think about some memories I have of my grandma Joanie I think about the little crochet doll dresses she would make for me to play with my Barbie’s. I got them for my birthday or Christmas growing up and she always made them in beautiful colors and patterns. I wish I had kept a couple of them. She also crocheted Christmas stockings for all of us grandkids. Going out to see her and my grandpa Mickey every summer are some of my favorite memories growing up. She would make these potato like pancake things called Bellini’s and I loved them. I know we were far away but I always knew she loved me very much and I am so happy that she got to know that her 5th great grand baby was born just a few days before she left us and he was healthy. I’ll miss her and love her always!

Oh Grandma, I still can’t believe it. As I sit down to wright about my favorite memory of you, I can’t just pick a single one. Weather it was sitting in the living room, watching out the window for the next bunny to hop by, or sitting down to watch your favorite Judge Judy episode, or taking a trip to “Wally world,” or waiting until nightfall to go out back and catch the fireflies. You’ll forever be in my heart. I’m so comforted to know you’re back with the love of your life, and are at peace and no longer in pain. I love you forever grandma, and I’ll see you with the fireflies <3

One of my favorite memories of visiting my grandma is when we would go down to new york to visit my dad during the summer, whenever we would go to her house was my favorite cause i knew that would mean i didn’t have to eat dinner at the table and instead could sit in the living room with my dinner on a newspaper as my “table” watching judge judy or whatever crime show she was watching that night. Sadly my grandma and I were never able to sit down and have her teach me to crochet, but I recently learned and now I understand why we would get crochet slippers for Christmas. I’m going to miss getting homemade cards on my birthday, my grandma was one of the most loving people I ever met in my life and i’m going to miss you forever. I love you so very much grandma.

I was saddened by this news. I spent many summers in Watkins Glen and I have wonderful memories of your Mom and Dad ! Lots of boat trips on the Seneca Lake. I was there when you guys were babies. As a matter of fact I may have been one of your first babysitters!! I will cherish those memories always. Sending hugs to all of you !
