Obituary of Jacqueline Lee Green

Jacqueline Lee "Jackie" Green It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow our family announces the passing of our dearly loved Jackie on Nov. 17, 2025 after a hard-fought courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on March 5, 1968 to Katharine Crance and John Freeman. She was predeceased by her father, father-in-law Bill Green, grandmother Laura McMahon, grandfather James Phillips, uncle Norm Mathews. Jackie graduated from Southside High School and from TST BOCES' Certified Nursing Assistant Program in 1987. She worked for ABLE 2 for 37 years in various positions but her very favorite was working with the individuals she loved so dearly. Jackie was a member of the Fresh Start United Methodist Church and volunteered in several programs. She was also a Foster Mom for the Horseheads Animal Shelter and did a fine job talking family members into adopting her fur babies. Jackie is survived by her husband of 37 years, Douglas E. Green; daughter, Veronica with her children; Johnthan, Lucas, Jaxon, Ian and Nora; sons Douglas J. Green, Landen Green and Jeffrey Green; mother and step father Katharine and Paul Crance; sisters Nicole Matosan, Deborah Teeter, Erika McKinnon; step sisters Joan Capogrossi, Cheryl Martak and Annette Koronowski; step brother Chris Crance; aunts Sandy Bonci, Marion Mathews and Rose Woodard; uncle Michael (Helen) Phillips; mother-in-law Sharon Green; brother-in-law William Green and everal nieces, nephews and cousins. Jackie was a loving, compassionate, kind, caring person who touched the lives of many people. She loved her family with all her heart and she will be truly missed by all. Friends and Family are invited to a Memorial Service to be officiated by Pastor Andy Pollock at the Penn Ave. FRESH START Church, 1238 Penna. Ave. Pine City NY 14871 on Dec. 3, 2025 at 11:00.
