Obituary of Regina Zimmer

Regina A. Zimmer, 67, of Elmira NY died peacefully with family by her side at Arnot Ogden Medical Center on Thursday, January 1, 2026. Born to the late George and Arlene (Traver) Zimmer in Ithaca, NY, on May 22, 1958, she dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker. A woman of simple tastes, who never asked for much, her biggest joy was to have visitors to her home. When not caring for her family or entertaining guests, she enjoyed keeping her mind sharp by completing puzzle books from cover to cover. Along with her parents, she is also predeceased by her brothers Mark (Joyce) and Jason (Karen) Zimmer. She is survived by her children: Stephen (Naomi) Wilcox, James (Tycie) Zimmer, Gregory (Anastasia) Zimmer, and Matthew Zimmer; Step-son Michael (Melissa) Wilcox; Brothers Richard (Margaret) Zimmer and Nathan Zimmer; Sister Melinda (Terry) Thompson; Grandson, Christopher Jones, as well as many dear nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Per her wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
