Obituary of Margaret Diane Shook

Margaret (Hiskey) "Maggie" Shook Age 82 of Horseheads, NY. Maggie passed peacefully on Friday, January 2nd, 2026, and went to be with her parents, Frank and Norma (Theel) Hiskey; siblings Carol, Janice, and Jay, who predeceased her. She is survived her husband Bob of 62 years; children Teresa (Greg), Katrina, Daniel, and Jim (Pat); grandchildren Andrew, Katie, Blake, Kylee, Piper, and Carson; her sisters Tammy and Doreen; along with many dear friends and extended family Maggie worked for McCory's at the Arnot Mall for 25 years. She got into a second career working with florists, including Floral Fantasy, and Griswold's flowers. Maggie volunteered at the Horseheads Food Pantry for many years; she loved helping people there. Family and friends are invited to visit the Barber Funeral Home, 413 S. Main St., in Horseheads, NY on Saturday, January 17th, 2025 from 2pm to 4 pm.
