Obituary of Janice Marie Czimback

Janice Marie Czimback Age 77, of Waverly, NY. Janice was born May 6, 1948 in Hornell to the late James and Jean (Stone) Henshaw. She passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026. She is predeceased by her son Timothy Allen Czimback; beloved sisters Marilyn Applebee and Marsha Hmiel. Survivors left to cherish her memory are her daughter Denise Czimback (Bill) Trondsen; son Christopher (Patrica) Czimback; grandchildren Ella Trondsen, Evan Czimback, Alyssa Czimback, Sammy Denson, Raelynn Luu, and Lizzie Denson; brothers Jim (Bonnie) Henshaw, Steve Henshaw, Bill Henshaw, and Lewis Henshaw; sister Lynn Lantz; her special nephews Jim Fowler and Mike (Lyrrah) Hmiel, along with many loving nieces, nephews, and close friends. Janice grew up in a large close-knit family in the Hornell and Arkport area before moving to Elmira. She graduated from Southside High School and started working as a nurse's aide at Elcor before completing nursing school to become an LPN. She continued her education at American Intercontinental University earning her Associate of Arts in Business Administration with a focus on Medical Billing and Coding, Bachelor in Healthcare Management and Master in Marketing. After graduation Janice was employed through AIU as a course grader. Janice was a compassionate, resilient and feisty woman. She had a true passion for Bingo playing every chance she could get! When not playing Bingo she enjoyed playing Poker, Mexican Train or spending time gaming on her laptop. Though she loved her games, her deepest love was for her family, particularly her grandchildren, with whom she was very close
