Obituary of Rosemarie Benjamin

Rosemarie Benjamin 78, of Alpine, New York, passed away peacefully at home on May 30, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Rose dedicated her life to those she loved and will be remembered for her warm heart, kind spirit, wonderful sense of humor, and adventurous nature. She shared nearly six decades of marriage with the love of her life, Donald E. Benjamin, Sr. She is survived by her devoted husband, Donald E. Benjamin, Sr.; her two sons, Donald (Karri) Benjamin, Jr. and Marcus (Lesa) Benjamin; seven beloved grandchildren; brother and sister from the Everson family, several brothers- and sisters-in-law from Benjamin family; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers of the Kuns family and her grandparents. Rose spent many years working as a home health care aide and at Cornell University. She also devoted her time to volunteering and caring for others. She found joy in spending summers camping with her grandchildren, reading, and baking for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a local cancer treatment organization. The family is planning to announce a memorial service at a later date.
