Obituary of Doris M. Struzinsky

Struzinsky, Doris (Smith) age 75 of Erin, NY passed away at home on Tuesday, March 17, 2015, after a brief illness. Doris was predeceased by her parents, Howard and Bessie (Gillette) Smith; and brother, Raymond Smith. Doris is survived by her loving family, her husband of over 57 years, Lynn L. Struzinsky, Sr.; children, Cindy (Scott) Evenden of Horseheads, NY, Lynn (Jolene) Struzinsky, Jr. of Endicott, NY, Michelle (Mark) Taber of Trumansburg, NY, Steven (Haleh) Struzinsky of Castelton, NY; grandchildren, Jade Rothman, Brent Taber, Colby Taber, Zachary Taber, Brandon Palmer, John Palmer, Arika Struzinsky, and Ty Struzinsky; brother, Glen (Lucille) Smith of Horseheads, NY; and grand dogs, Zoey, Dunkin, Tess and Dante. Doris retired from SCT BOCES as a teacher’s aide. Her main hobby was bowling. She enjoyed trips to the casino and was a true sports enthusiast. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home Inc., 413 S. Main St., Horseheads on Saturday, March 21, 2015, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 3:00 pm.
