Obituary of Terri Lynne (Wensel) Brown

BROWN, Terri Lynne (Wensel) age 59 passed away peacefully surrounded by family following a brief illness on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at Bethany Manor in Horseheads, NY. She was born on January 6, 1956, daughter of Franklin & Mary (Sinko) Brown. Terri is survived by her daughters and sons, Ashley (Mike Seymour) Glynn of Pine City, Jessica (Mike) Glynn Hills of Elmira, Matthew (Erika) Glynn of Elmira, Emily (Corey Strope) DeRenzo of Addison, Joseph DeRenzo of Nelson, PA; mother, Mary Brown of Horseheads; grandchildren, Peytyn and Carissa, Lucas and Caleb, La’Ron, Keira and Aundrea; beloved sister and brother, Kelle (Hugh) Brown-Goodwin of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Frank (Maxine) Brown of Greenville, SC; former husband, James Glynn of Pine City, NY; nieces and nephews, Sara (Matt) Matweijow of Bradford, NY and Lauren and Julia Brown of Greenville, SC. Terri was also predeceased by her father, Franklin A. Brown; and sister, Nance J. Ferri. Terri was a 1974 graduate of Horseheads High School. She relocated to Maryland and worked at Royal Farms in Port Deposit, MD for the past few years where she made a countless number of friends with colleagues and customers. Terri loved to talk to everyone about anything. She was a great listener and was happy to offer advice to anyone that asked. She loved her time on her computer keeping in contact with friends and playing her games. She was a dedicated hard worker and Philadelphia Eagles fan who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home, 413 S. Main St., Horseheads on Fri., Aug. 7, 2015, from 4-7:00 pm. A service celebrating her life will take place in First United Methodist Church, 1034 W. Broad St., Horseheads on Sat., Aug. 8, 2015 at 10:00 am. Burial service to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads where she will be laid to rest next to her sister, Nance.
