Obituary of Rose M. Elliott

ELLIOTT, Rose M. Age 63 of Elmira Heights passed away after a long illness on Mon. Sept. 28, 2015 at Corning Hospital. Rose was born Dec. 19, 1951 in Elmira, NY to Irving and Nelda (Moore) Rumsey. She is survived by her husband, Perry Elliott; Children, Sara (Craig) Rhode of Lowman, NY Otto “Buster” (Dove) Miller of Wilmington, NC; Perry’s children, Van Elliott of South Carolina and Tom (Jody) Elliott of Elmira, Grandchildren, Cameron, Hanna, and Benjamin Rhode Holland Miller; Mitchell Elliott and Brittany and Christian Elliott; Brothers and sisters, Ruby ( Paul) Egan of Georgia Rocky (Cindy) Rumsey of Millport Ruth (Mark) See of Whitney Point, NY; Rose was retired inspector for US Salt in Watkins Glen, NY. She enjoyed her family and watching all her grandchildren play sports. Rose always enjoyed Friday Night Dinner, Football and Golf. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home 413 S. Main St. Horseheads on Thursday Oct. 1, 2015 from 4-7:00 pm. Her service will follow there at the funeral home at 7:00 pm.
