Obituary of Donald L. Biegun

Biegun, Donald L. age 87 of Horseheads, NY, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by many of his family members, on Thursday evening, November 19, 2015. Don was born in Towanda, PA; his parents were the late Charles and Mildred (Rowe) Vogel. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 1/2 years, Edna (Campbell) Biegun; children, Sandy (Ken) Graves of Port St. Lucie, FL, Don (Sharen) Biegun of Jacksonville, FL, and Jeff (Chrissy) Biegun of Jupiter, FL; grandchildren, Scott (Andrea) Graves Mike (Pam) Graves, Chris (Lori) Graves, Dan (Renee) Biegun, Matt (Brianne) Biegun, Sandie (Mike) Foos, Ryan (Jamie) Biegun, Lauren Biegun and, Jacob Biegun; great grandchildren, Zak, Lexi and Alli Graves Thomas, Henry, Oliver, Lillian, Dylan and Jackson Biegun; sister, Patty Morgan of Waverly, NY; brother-in-law, Bill (Diane) Campbell of Athens, PA; sisters-in-law, Mildred Dewey of Bridgeville, DE and Nancy Clark of Homosassa, FL. Don was a tool cutter having retired from Bendix Purolator in Elmira Heights. He was an active member and past master of Horseheads Lodge F. & A. M. and member and past patron of Horseheads Chapter O.E.S. Don was an avid gardener, bowler and golfer. He had conducted the junior bowling program at Paramount Lanes for 20 years and was inducted in to the Elmira Bowlers Hall of Fame. Main St., Horseheads on Monday, November 23, 2015 from 4-6:00 pm and again on Tuesday from 11:00 am -1:00 pm where his service will follow at 1:00 pm. Burial in Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads.
