Obituary of Jeffrey D. Seeley

SEELEY, Jeffrey D. Age 50 of Little Lake, Alpine/Catherine passed away peacefully, yet unexpectedly at home after a courageous battle with cancer on Jan. 29, 2016. Jeff was born in Elmira, NY Jan. 14, 1966, to John and Lynda (Kliegel) Seeley. Jeff was predeceased by his father, John, in 1981. He is survived by his mother, Lynda Seeley of Alpine; sister, Lisa Seeley of Northern VA; brothers, John (Pam) Seeley of Alpine and Joseph Seeley; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jeff was the warehouse manager of John C. Lowery, Inc. of Ithaca, NY. Jeff enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, and fun times with family, friends, and his two dogs. All those who knew Jeff, whose life he touched or even a brief encounter with him are encouraged to please join us for a Celebration of his life filled with stories, good food, fun, fellowship and light libation which will take place at the Montour Moose Club, Rt. 14 Montour Falls on Thursday evening Feb. 4th from 5-8:00 pm. All are welcome; bring a story, a friend or just yourself. Family and friends are also invited to celebrate his Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016 at 9:30am in St. Mary Our Mother Church, 816 W. Broad St., Horseheads.
