to the children:
I have always wanted to meet Joanne since Jimmy died. calling her to chat was always on my to do list. even in the last week I have thought about calling her. well ""thinking"" didn't make it happen. and now I never can. so you can bet however that I will be talking to her also as I visit Jimmy's grave this summer. I knew she must be a wonderful person just based on how the grave is kept and adorned. And the obituary you folks wrote is proof that she was in fact a wonderful person.
I have loved Jimmy since we were in high school. probably about 1954 and 1955 we walked home from school. he walked all the way to Fisherville but I was Townie on Hatfield Street.
