Obituary of Carol (Talasleian) Spencer

Carol L. (Talasleian) Spencer Age 60 of San Antonio, TX and formerly of Elmira, NY passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016. She was born in Elmira, NY to Leon and Arlene (Geer) Talasleian. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister, Marie Talasleian; and godson, Kyle Moharter. Carol was a graduate of Southside High Class of 1974. Her surviving family includes her brother, Lee & Cheryl Talaslein Simmons with their children, Sarah, Daniel and Andrew all of Horseheads, NY; sister, Chris & Fran Sutton of Corning, NY; extended family, Judy and Bill Moharter, Joe, Norma, Patrick, Jim (Judy) Horton, and Jane Wagner all of Horseheads, NY; sister-in-law, Denise Spencer; cousin, Paul Titus and family; special friend, “Champagne Cheryl” from San Antonio, TX, several other nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and a host of dear friends and many co-workers, especially her family at KellerWilliams in San Antonio, TX who were more than co-workers and employers, but dear friends and family. Carol worked as an independent contractor and licensed realtor with KellerWilliams in San Antonio TX. She was the “family newspaper” who kept everyone together on family changes. Carol had an infectious smile; those whose lives she touched will always remember her.
