Obituary of Harold M. May, Sr.

Harold M. May, Sr. Age 77 of South Broadway in Wellsburg passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016. Harold was born November 26, 1938, in Pine City to Claude and Bernice (Stage) May. He is survived by his loving wife, Helen (Carver) May; daughters and sons, Rebecca May of Elmira, Harold (Brenda) May, Jr. of Lowman, Timothy (Sheena) May of Metamora, MI, Rachel (Wayne) Facey of Rome, NY, Karen, Joseph, Lucas May and Benjamin (Alicia) May all of Elmira, Lisa May of NE, and Anna and Dustin May both of Wellsburg; 11 grandchildren; siblings, Emogene Walborn, Genevieve Rafferty, Margaret Loper, Jacqueline Hults, and Jeanette Good. He was also predeceased by Marion, Glen, Claude, Arlene and Art. Harold was retired from NYS Highway Department in Horseheads and a life member of the Southport Fire Department. He loved camping, spending time with his grandchildren and collecting Christmas ornaments. Family and friends are invited to call at the Breesport Baptist Church, 240 Church St., Breesport, NY on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, from 4-7:00 pm. His service will be celebrated there on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at 11:00 am. Burial service will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
