Obituary of Mary E. Davis

DAVIS, Mary E. A longtime resident of Glendale Dr. in Horseheads passed away Sat. Jan. 14, 2017. Mary was born Dec. 16, 1926 in White Deer, PA to James and Bessie (Zellers) Fultz. She was predeceased by her husband, Harvey Davis Dec. 26, 1976 and is survived by her daughter and son, Brenda Davis of Syracuse, NY; James (Aleta) Davis of Des Moines, IA; Grandchildren, Jennifer (Rev. Dominic) Sunukjian, Jacqueline (Al) Bennett , Jocelyn (Joseph) Monkofsky, Hannah (Daniel) Wolff, James Jr. and Benjamin (Kenice) Davis; Great grandchildren, Ashley and Michael Bennett, Mary, Sophia, Samuel, and Rebekah Sunukjian, Joseph Monkofsky and Chloee Ann Wolff, Jenna, Hunter, and Tristan Davis; Dear friends, Carol Parsons and Nate Scouten and a host of church family, friends, and neighbors. Mary was employed at Westinghouse Corp where she was an inspector for their Government Picture tube products division. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and devoted NY Yankee Fan. She also enjoyed gardening and shopping at rummage sales. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home 413 S. Main St. Horseheads on Thurs Jan. 19, 2017 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm.
