Denise,
I just learned about your mother's death. I am so sorry. I have many wonderful memories of our friendship beginning as roommates at Ohio University. We kept in touch with FaceTime which we thought we were very clever to figure out. My condolences to your family. I will miss her also.

Wendy and I would like to express sorrow about hearing that your mother Lu had passed. We attended church with her and Ted in Winston-Salem from around 2001 until the time they left to move to New York. Lu will be greatly missed by us and the rest of her St. Andrews family. Her memory will continue at the church for the work she did. When I walk into the sanctuary I remember her for the work she did as part of the ""Banner Bees"". I also remember Ted talking about his trains and his work with the scouts. Lu and Ted will be such a part of our church. We pray for peace and comfort for your family as you go through this difficult time. May God bless your family. If there is anything we can do for you, please let us know.

My mother, Linda Estabrook, moved to Appleridge Senior Living a little over a year ago. Lou was one of the first people who befriended my mom. I had the pleasure of meeting her on a couple of occasions, usually in the dining room or at the puzzle table. She was a sweet lady and I am so thankful for her friendship to my mom. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Dear Denise and Kirk, I am so sorry that you have lost your mom. I know this is incredibly difficult. Praying that the Holy Spirit will comfort you and all who loved her with the peace that passeth all understanding. May your cherished memories also provide you comfort. I remember the few times that she came to prayer shawl gatherings. She was certainly delightful. I enjoyed those times with her.
