Obituary of Onalee May Sweet

Sweet, Onalee May age 88 passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at Elcor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Horseheads. Mrs. Sweet was born May 1, 1928, in Hornby, NY, the daughter of Delbert and Dora Lines. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Sweet, in 2007; and brother, Dennison Lines, Sr., in 1986. Onalee enjoyed camping and gardening as well as being an animal lover, especially for her Boston Terriers, Biscuit, Lisa, Midge, and Buddy. But most of all, her heart belonged to her late husband. They enjoyed spending their time together, whether it be going on adventures or simply tying fish flies together. Bob was the love of her life. Friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home, Inc., 413 S. Main St., Horseheads on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 2:00PM – 3:00PM. Funeral service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 3:00PM. Interment will take place privately in Woodlawn Cemetery beside her beloved husband, Bob.
