SWEZEY, Barbara B. (Bridgeman) Age 89 of Wisteria Way Horseheads and formerly of Bowlby Rd., Elmira Passed away unexpectedly Sunday April 2, 2017. Barb was born in Elmira June 26, 1927 to Frank and Alveretta (Herrington) Bridgeman. She was predeceased by her husband, Monroe in 2001 and is survived by her daughters, Janet (John) Dean of Elmira, NY, Nancy (Dale) Powers of Painted Post, NY; Grandchildren, Robyn Bebel, Andrew (Jenn) Bebel and Elizabeth Dean; Great grandchildren, Ryleigh and Madelyne; Sister, Marie (Dick) Pinelli of Elmira, NY, Brother, Norris (Shirley) Bridgeman of Horseheads, NY; She was also predeceased by her sister, Linda Carl. Barbara was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Horseheads and retired administrative assistant with Chemung Canal Trust Company. She especially enjoyed being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who always thought of others first.
