Obituary of Larry Rosplock

ROSPLOCK, Lawrence “ Larry” Age 74 of Horseheads, NY, passed away on Mon. Oct. 9, 2017. He was born May 19, 1943 in Elmira, NY to Lawrence Sr. and Olga Hoodak Rosplock. Larry was predeceased by his first wife of 47 years, Dianna (Doan) in 2011 and is survived by his wife of 5 years, Diana(Hamilton) DuBose-Rosplock; Daughters, Marie & Treva Rosplock from Elmira Heights; grandchildren, Erin & Tyler Temple, Charisma & Haley Andrzejewski; and great granddaughter Aubree Marie; step daughters, Darcy and Danielle DuBose, brothers, Robert (Glenna) Rosplock of Dunkirk NY, William (Sarah) Rosplock of Campbell NY, and Michael (Cynthia) Rosplock of Savona NY; Sister-in-law, Marilyn (Jim) Byron of Macedon, NY; brother-in-law, James (Betsy) Doan of Horseheads NY and as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, past co-workers and friends. Larry served as a proud member of the US Air Force and enjoyed bringing his outstanding basketball talents to the military basketball team. He worked at the A & P plant for many years before its closing. He later worked for NY Telephone, later Verizon and retired there in 2002. He especially enjoyed photography and capturing special family moments on film. Family and friends are invited at the Barber Funeral Home, 413 S. Main St, Horseheads, NY on Mon. Oct. 16, 2017 from 11:00am-12:00 noon for a time of gathering and sharing. A prayer service will immediately follow there at the funeral home at 12:00 noon with a graveside service with military honors to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
