Obituary of Margaret E. Pelot ""Meg""

PELOT, Margaret E. “Meg” Age 83 of Horseheads passed away Mon, Oct. 30, 2017. Meg was born in Shinglehouse, PA, April 2, 1934 to the late William “Mack” and Genevieve (Prince) Lawton. Meg was also predeceased by her grandson, Noel Fraboni. She is survived by her husband, James Pelot; son and daughter, Tim (Luann) Pelot of Horseheads, NY, Linda (James) Fraboni of Myrtle Beach, SC; also survived by her grandchildren, who affectionately called her “Nonny”, Christian Fraboni, Ashleigh (William) Mooney, Chantal Pelot, Corey Pelot; and several nieces and nephews. Meg was the last survivor of her siblings, Grace, Jacqueline and Mary. Mrs. Pelot was a longtime member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Horseheads, Home Bureau, and Horseheads WOES #2297. She was an avid reader and always enjoyed time spent at their cottage in Canada. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home, 413 S. Main St. Horseheads on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017 from 4-7:00 pm. Her service will be celebrated there on Friday, Nov. 3, 2017 at 10:00 am with burial service to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
