Obituary of Marion L. Wilson

Marion L. Wilson, 88, resident of Brookline, NH, passed away on January 22, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Elmira, NY on February 10, 1929, the daughter of Helen (Sheldon) Rush. Prior to moving to Brookline, Marion made her home in Western New York for the majority of her life. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, attending church services and especially reading her bible. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She was a member of the Merrimack Valley Baptist Church, Merrimack, NH. Marion was predeceased by her husband, Robert D. Wilson, who passed away in 2002. Family members include a daughter and son-in-law with whom she made her home, Kathleen and Michael Healey of Brookline, NH; three sons and daughters-in-law, David R. and Tange Wilson of Lockport, NY, Reid W. and Barbara Wilson of Wilmington, NC, Douglas M. and Linda Wilson of Columbia, SC; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Visiting hours are on Saturday, January 27th from 11:00am-1:00pm in the Merrimack Valley Baptist Church, 517 Boston Post Road, Merrimack, NH. Funeral services will follow at 1:00pm in the church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira. NY.
