Obituary of Shirley E. Walker

WALKER, Shirley E. Age 87 of Horseheads, NY. Shirley passed away on January 25th, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry W. and Hazel L. Herbert; sister Dorothy J. Elwood; and brother Harold L. Herbert. Shirley is survived by her beloved husband, Carl T. Walker; sons, Robert C. Walker of Ohio and John R. Walker of Oklahoma; three grandchildren; one great grandson and one great granddaughter; along with her nephew and four nieces. Shirley and Carl were married in 1951. She was a graduate of Corning Free Academy and the Arnot Ogden Hospital School for Nursing. She worked proudly as a registered nurse, retiring from Corning Hospital. Following Shirley's wishes, private services with family will be held at a later date.
