I haven't had the words to express what a loss this is for me. Bettie has been there for me, as well as all the other punk kids in the neighborhood, since I was young. I was her Terd! She helped shape who I am today, through her strength and sense of humor, she taught me how to be a good person, Independent, and to enjoy life. She was tough as nails, but would give you the shirt off her back, if that was all she had. I'm going to miss her terribly, but I keep trying to remind myself that she's with John again, and no longer struggling and in pain. I love you, Bettie! Until we meet again.....
