I was so saddened to see this obit yesterday. I am Sally's cousin and just got in touch with her in recent years. I remember her when I was young and she was in her early twenties when we were at Aunt Marguerite's in Erin NY. I was delighted to find her again and enjoyed a couple visits with her. What a sweet lady! The last couple years I was not able to make contact. We spend winters in Green Valley, AZ and on our way through Benson, I did a search on the internet and saw her obit. If any of the family would like to make contact, I would be thrilled. My dad was Earl Staples, called ""Petey"" by his family. Unfortunately, that family was not close. I feel I missed a lot and have very fond memories of Aunt Marguerite and Aunt Leah. I will also retain a fond memory in my heart for Sally and so glad to have re-met her again, howbeit short.
