Dear Mona - you probably will not remember me, but we played soccer together back when the local leagues first began in the late 1970s/early 1980s. Your father was very kind, and used to regale us with stories about bike riding and drinking beer in Germany in his youth. I remember him so fondly, and hope you were able to be near him throughout all these years. I'm so sorry I did not see the newspaper notice until the memorial service was over, but I'm keeping you in my thoughts. - Nancy (Daw) Kane
