Obituary of Sharon Joy Clark

Sharon Joy Clark Age 80 of Ocala, FL and formerly a resident of Horseheads, NY, passed away on Wed. March 23, 2021 at home. She was born in Elmira, NY on April 1, 1940 daughter of the late John and Sarah Howland. Sharon’s surviving family includes companion Bill Moudy of Ocala, FL; Daughter and son-in-law, April and Joseph DeArmitt with their daughters Emily and Abby, all of Bath, NY; Sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Lynn Clark with their family, Gloria and David all of Navarre, FL; Roy and Kathy Clark with their daughters Sabrina and Karissa, all of Pine City, NY; A brother Jack (Kay) Howland of Ocala, FL and three sisters, Colleen (Jack) Martin of Georgetown, DE; Rebecca (John) Donovan of Ocala, FL; Kathy (Norm) Wilcox of Elmira, NY; She is also survived by several brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Charles R. Clark, and daughter Kimberley A. Clark. Sharon was known for her beautiful infectious smile and love of life. She lived a life that exemplified her name and was a dedicated mother and grandmother that forged a wonderful legacy for them and all who knew and loved her. The doors to her home and heart were always open. She will forever be remembered for her unconditional love, her spirit, forgiving nature, inner strength, and unwavering faith. She had been a business partner with her husband at C.R. Clark Truckmen Inc. in Horseheads and Whispering Oaks Farm in Ocala, Florida, raising and breeding thoroughbred horses. She enjoyed her family and friends. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Sharon’s life at her memorial service, to be held in Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads on Monday March 29th 2021 at 12:30 PM.
