I taught Kindergarten at Severn School from 1969-1971, and Mr. Mahon was the principal there upon the retirement of James McCullough. I found that I had to set him straight on a number of issues. After I was married, I moved to Michigan, received a Master of Education at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan, and taught Grade 6 for 33 yrs. I am presently Home Schooling my grandson, and have for 8 yrs! I greatly missed Mr. McCullough! He was a wonderful person and principal.

Don. I will miss you at our coffee meetings and our shared memories of wrestling in Wyoming Valley ( your Hanover and my Forty Fort HS) . It was a privilege to teach for you at Frank Pierce, and to chauffeur you in the Mansfield University parade the weekend you were inducted into their Hall of Fame . Rest In Peace my dear friend.

We are so sorry to hear of Dons passing. Our children were fortunate to have him as a principal at Carder School. I cant think of many mornings when Don wasnt standing in front of the school greeting students and parents and often getting many hugs from the children who loved him and knew how much he cared. We worked with Don on many school projects and always found him happy to see us and always helpful.
He was a wonderful man and will be truly missed.

What a kind man Don was. I knew him through the CPP school district and was always struck by his constant good nature and wonderful smile. RIP.
