I remember you Kip, Cliff talked fondly of you often and wanted to have you over for dinner sometime. He really enjoyed his lunches with you and loved talking and laughing with you!!!
I am very sorry to hear of Cliff's passing. I met Cliff in December 2006 when I started working at the Star Gazette as a Shortage Driver the same as Cliff. In fact, My first three nights working I rode with Cliff learning how to do paper routes. We instantly had a bond because I too am a retired US Air Force Master Sergeant. We worked together for several years and it was a pleasure to know and work with Cliff. After he left the paper we still corresponded and had several lunches together discussing the paper, the Air Force, and life in general. Cliff was a super person and he will be missed greatly.
