Obituary of Sophie M. Clements

Sophie M. Clements Age 94 of Elmira. She was born on January 7th 1927 in Elmira Heights, NY, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Magyoria) Magura and passed away peacefully on Monday, December 27th 2021. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Colleen in 1952; her beloved husband, Joseph W. Clements Jr., in 1995; and her son-in-law Jeffrey Weyrauch in 2017. Mrs. Clements is survived by her five daughters, Sharon Weyrauch, Patricia (Donald Hughey) Donnell, Janice Clements, Kimberley (Peter) Chalk, and Eileen Clements; grandchildren Scott Weyrauch, Kevin (Christina) Weyrauch, Michael (Jennifer) Weyrauch, Timothy (Amber) J. Donnell, Jennifer (Nicholas) Diwello, Joseph (Octavia) Chalk, and Kelly (Nicholas) Melligan; 11 great grandchildren; along with several nieces, and nephews. Mrs. Clements was a graduate of Watkins Glen High School, Class of 1943. She was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church in Elmira, NY. Following her wishes there will be private services held with her family. Committal and interment at the convenience of her family will be held in Maple Grove Cemetery, Horseheads, NY.
