Obituary of Grace H. Wieder

Grace H. Wieder Age 92, of Lowman, NY. She was born on January 25, 1929 in Lewistown, PA, the daughter of the late Clyde and the Margaret (Pecht) Lyter, and passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. In addition to her parents, Grace was predeceased by her loving husband, Richard O. Wieder in 2009. She was a mother of 3, grandmother of 10, and a great grandmother of 18. She is survived by her children, Carolyn (John) Graham, Cheryl (Dave) Teeter, and Richard (Joy) Wieder and their families; her sister Audrey Ritter; sister-in-law Margaret Lyter; many nieces & nephews; along with her dear friend and favorite lunch companion. Grace was a longtime member of the Elmwood Baptist Church in Elmira Heights. Her homemade pies were always in high demand, and her Afghans are treasured. Family and friends are invited to visit the Barber Funeral Home, 413 S. Main St., in Horseheads, NY, on Wednesday, January 19th 2022 from 11 am to 1 pm. Her funeral service will be held there at 1 pm. Rev. David Fife officiating. Grace will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in a future service.
