Obituary of Stephen Michael Sano

Stephen M. Sano, age 67 of Horseheads, NY was born December 11, 1954 to the late Vincent and Gloria Sano, Sr. and passed away on February 24, 2022. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his father-in-law Glen L. Smith. Stephen is survived by his wife of 39 years, Glenda Sano; children David (Megan) Sano and Jessica (Mike Houghtaling) Sano; grandchildren Connor and Olivia Sano; sister Michele (David) Holley, brother Vincent (Debbie) Sano, Jr.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Stephen and Cheryl Silvernail, and Douglas and Suellen Smith. Stephen retired from Handicapped Children's Association as Executive Director in July of 2020. Family and friends are invited to Stephen's Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 1 to 4 pm at the Elmira Country Club, 1538 W.
