Obituary of Gary K. Dove

DOVE, Gary K. Age 69 of Horseheads, NY. He was born April 5, 1952 in Elmira, NY, son of the late William and Gloria (Fife) Dove and passed away Friday, March 18, 2022 unexpectedly. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Nancy (Kingsbury) Dove; children Kerry (Phillip) Motell of Apalachin, NY and Gary (Wanda Keyser) Dove, Jr. of Horseheads; grandchildren Erika Motell of Horseheads, Andrew and Evan Motell both of Apalachin, NY; brother Fred Dove, Sr and sister Karen Dove Bohart both of Elmira along with several nieces and nephews. Gary retired from the Elmira Heights School District. Along with his wife, he owned and operated Dove's Auto Sales. He was an avid Texas Holdem player and enjoyed deep sea fishing.Family and friends are invited to visit Barber Funeral Home, 413 S. Main St., Horseheads on Wednesday, March 23rd from 5 to 7 pm.
