Obituary of Laurence E. Burlew

BURLEW, Laurence E. Age 86 of Breesport passed away after a brief illness on Wed. Mar. 23, 2011. He is survived by his wife of nearly 67 years, Kathryn (Hart) Burlew; Sons and daughters-in-law, Laurence (Gloria) Burlew Jr. of Port Charlotte, FL, Gary (Debbie) Burlew of Horseheads, NY; Grandchildren, Buddy (Jennifer) Burlew, Holli (Jason) Durbin, Dustin Burlew, Gary (Olivia) Burlew Jr., Tina (Jason) Willey, Michelle (Brian) Tilden Great grandchildren, Kaylea, Lacey, Phoebe Burlew, Eric, Devlyn, Seonaide Durbin, Lindsay Tilden and nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his sisters, Inez, Lila, Virginia, Betty, and brother, Edwin. Larry was a retired plumber working for the Local Plumbers and Steam fitters Union now in Syracuse. He was a member of the American Legion and had attended Breesport Baptist Church. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home 413 S. Main St. Horseheads, NY on Monday Mar. 28, 2011 from 3-6:00 pm. Where his service will follow there at 6:00 pm.
