Obituary of Judith A. Warakomski

Judith Warakomski Age 83 of Erin, NY. She was born November 28, 1938 in Elmira, NY. Daughter of the late Harry and Theresa (Connolly) Getchell. She passed away Friday, September 16, 2022 at Strong Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph in 2015. She is survived by her daughters Jennifer Baughman and Joanna Warakomski; grandchildren Monika, Hannah, Oliva, Emma, Elijah, Ezra, Micah, Leocadia and Makena; great grandchildren Jennalynn, Aletha, Judah, Vivian, Gideon, Martha, and August; sister Jean Watts. Judy studied at St. Joseph's School of Nursing which was followed by a long career as a Registered Nurse at Arnot Ogden Medical Center from 1967 until her retirement in 2000. She and Joseph enjoyed annual trips to the coast of Maine. She enjoyed cooking delicious meals and hosting large family holiday celebrations. She also cared for a wide array of blooming houseplants and always enjoyed the company of her cats over the years. Family and friends are invited to visit Breesport Baptist Church, 1811 N Chemung Rd, Breesport, NY on Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 5:00pm-6:30pm.
