Brigid was truly amazing! You never forget someone this amazing. We visited her many times! Her home and her gardens were works of art. She had an enthusiasm for life and lots of wisdom to share! She was smart and quick and fun and feisty! Her son Chris shared her with us, and we and our students from the Alternative High and Possibilities Center were so lucky to spend time there at the cabin and at their glorious home. What a creative family with indomitable spirits! I am sad she has passed but I know she led a life of meaning filled with joy, and I feel honored I was able to know her.

Loved my Aunt Brigid Galusha!! She was a force of nature! And let’s not forget her cooking!! Gourmet was just the first word I would put in front of her cooking! Every meal was a feast for all your senses!
When i turned 6 my Dad was in Vietnam, and we had come for a summer visit. She literally threw the biggest birthday party I’ve had my whole life. Inviting children from all over HH. If you were there, thanks for showing up! This is just one of the many kindnesses she showed me through my life, but so many more. Thank you, Brigid Galusha! You will be missed by one and all who met you!
