Obituary of Angela Stevens

Angela Stevens Age 64 of Horseheads, NY. She was born July 2, 1958 in Preston, Lancashire, in the United Kingdom, the daughter of the late Clarence and Dorothy Mavis (Seed) Freeman. Angela passed away on Sunday December 11th 2022. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Paul Freeman. Angela is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Derek M. Stevens; children Martin R. & Heather Stevens with their son Austin, Jeffery Wakeman, and Emma L. Stevens; sister Hillary (Gerard) McCabe with their daughter Heather; along with beloved extended family and friends. Angela lived her life as a giving, thoughtful person. She was an excellent mother, who enjoyed nature and getting away for trips to Niagara Falls. In recent years her health prevented her from being able to enjoy time out as often. She and Derek met in the village of Chipping in England in January of 1980. They were married the following September, and immigrated to America in 1984 to spend decades happily by each others side. Angela was a blessing to her family and all those who knew her. Family and friends are invited to visit the Barber Funeral Home, 413 South Main St., in Horseheads, NY on Friday, December 16th 2022 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Family request that everyone dress casually, as Angela would have done.
