Carl was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish, and sit on his porch and watch the wildlife. He especially enjoyed time with his grandchildren, where you would always see a big smile on his face. He loved the attention from his daughters who constantly competed for the title of Favorite Daughter by wearing Favorite Daughter shirts and pins, making signs, and sending him special gifts from their Favorite Daughter, including mugs, blankets, garden flags, ornaments, and even getting I Love You tattoos in his handwriting. Carl retired from Hardinge Brothers Inc. and for a few years enjoyed summers at Seneca Lake. The family would like to send a special thank you to the caring staff at Robert Packer Hospital and to special friends Terry and Marie for continued support. At Carl's request there will be no services. He will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery. Arrangements will be made by the Barber Funeral Home. Memorial donations are encouraged to a charity of one's choice, or just simply do an act of kindness for someone.
