Louise Talmage

Obituary of Louise Talmage

Louise Talmage (Palmer) It is with a very sad heart that I write this for the world to see. Louise M. Talmage “Gramma in the Blue House” has passed to a better place. As I am touching up the memory board, I am flooded with her stories of how her and Charlie dated, started a family, and spent their years together. She so missed him since his passing. There were times when she told of how she spent her time when the boys were young, babysitting, cleaning banks with her mom, and doing laundry for others. She could name every child, where they lived, and their ages. She so loved her three boys, and everyday of her life as a mother. Charles Jr. who passed far to young, Mark who lives across the yard, and her son Scott who lives in Corning that she talked to everyday. Gramma and I recently had a conversation about how people show love. Some with hugs and kisses, some with a glance, and some with a twinkle in their eye. Gramma was a ‘twinkle person’. You saw it every time she talked about her family from her parents all the way to her great grand kids. So, if she never told you, it is because she didn’t know how. Just remember that she did show it in her own way. As I end this to you all I say, she loved you all forever and a day. Age 89 of Breesport, NY. Louise was born February 25, 1934 at home in Breesport, the daughter of the late Furman S. and Elsie L. (Minturn) Palmer.
