Obituary of Janice Guile

Janice Guile Age 88 of Horseheads, NY. She was born March 2, 1935 in Syracuse, NY, and passed away peacefully late Sunday night on June 4th 2023. In addition to her parents, Janice was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Donald L. Guile, in 2013. She is survived by her children Kathleen Guile of Elmira, NY, Stephanie Guile of Cleveland, OH, Lisa Raber of Cleveland, OH, and James Guile of Corning, NY; two grandchildren Alivia Guile, and Jonathan Guile; along with extended family and dear friends. Janice and Donald were longtime members of the First Presbyterian Church in Horseheads. She was proud to have received her Associates Degree from Corning Community College and worked as an accountant for P.I.C.C. in Corning for many years. She loved her cats, and was never without a feline companion. She was an avid bridge player, a league bowler who scored a 289 game, and jigsaw puzzle aficionado. Moreover, she was a proud mother of her four children and she loved her family as they grew around her. At her request, Janice's services will be held privately, with her committal alongside her husband in Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira.
