Obituary of Sally H. Kelly

Sally H. Kelly Age 72. Passed away on June 6, 2023 peacefully in her sleep. Sally is survived by her sisters Nancy Brown and Donna Kelly; nephew Greg Brown and wife Jennifer, along with two great nephews Matthew and Jonathan Brown all of Texas. Sally is also survived by her best friend and roommate Denise Blint of 50 years. Sally was a polio survivor from 1953, breast cancer survivor with limited physical abilities, but she was a fighter and out lived her prognosis of living into her 20's. Sally was an avid photographer, enjoyed painting flowers on gourds, and riding her scooter keeping an eye on Horseheads (she was a lifelong resident). Sally also loved her cats more than anything, all rescued. Sally was predeceased by her father and mother Dean S. Kelly and Arlene Smith, along with her brother-in law Ward Brown. Sally will be deeply missed by all with her smile, craziness, and will to live. In lieu of flowers she would love to have donations to the Chemung County Humane Society and SPCA, 2435 State Route 352, Elmira, NY 14903. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at Maple Grove Cemetery, 715 W. Broad Street, Horseheads, NY 14845 on Tuesday, June 13th at 11a.m.
