Obituary of Lois Ann Jenkins

Lois Jenkins (Sterling) Age 67, of Caton NY, passed away on Wednesday November 29th 2023 after battling several health issues. She was born in Elmira, NY on January 3rd 1956 to John and Phyllis Sterling. Lois worked as a nurse at St Joseph's hospital in Elmira for many years. She enjoyed helping people and loved all kids. Lois volunteered for several years as a 4-H leader in Chemung County. She had a passion for animals, sewing, and crafting and shared this with all that knew her. Lois and Timothy Jenkins have two children, Kathy Smith (Corey) and John Jenkins. Lolo loved her boys (nephew/ grandsons) Zach Barner, Damon & Dalton Smith as much as life itself. Lois is survived by her siblings, Rosanna Audinwood, Bruce Sterling, Joe Sterling, Carol Barner, and Nancy Sterling and their families. The family will have a celebration of life for family and friends announced at a later date.
