Obituary of Carol L. Welch

Carol L. Welch passed away peacefully at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center on May 19, 2024 in Elmira, NY. She was 84. Carol was born on May 8, 1940 in Westfield, PA. She was a proud homemaker. She married Ronald Welch in 1979. Carol was a dedicated Elvis fan, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and had a passion for playing online games. Carol Welch is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Geoffrey Pierce; her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Thomas Beach; her daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Mark Campbell; her daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Ray Bellows; her grandchildren, notably Alex Pierce; Jody Buckley (with Cassondra Bowes); Denise Ziarno; Kari Radford; Brittany Coston; Brandy Davis; Mackenzi Bellows; Jamie Lott; Courtney Beach; and Nathan Buckley; and many great-grandchildren, notably Cayden and Cameron Buckley. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Fazzary; her husband, Ronald Welch; and her granddaughter, Samantha Lott. Carol will be honored in a memorial at Barber Funeral Home, 413 S. Main St., in Horseheads, NY, on Thursday, May 23, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The family would like to thank Arnot Ogden Hospice Care for their loving, dedicated, and thoughtful care.
